ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Mike is known for being one of the pioneering trailblazers of inspirational speakers and leadership development trainers of his generation. As a Husband, Father, Entrepreneur, Author, and Life Coach, he has a drive and passion to assist others in maximizing their true potential in life. Born and raised in Flint, MI, Mike is no stranger to enduring and overcoming challenging times. From unemployment to evictions, to financial depletion and criticism from all walks of life, to say the least, has proven as a training ground for Mike to develop fortitude and will power to endure and soar through the storms of life that we all face.
His philosophy is “When you’re living in your purpose, there’s no such thing as competition“. By applying the very leadership principles that he teaches in his own life, he began his career as an Elementary School teacher at the age of 19, later becoming a School Principal at the age of 25. His educational background consists of a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters Degree in Executive Leadership.
As an entrepreneur, Mike, alongside his wife owns and operates several businesses, including LewLegacy LLC, and The Lacquer Studio, an upscale beauty salon in Meadows Place, TX. He is also the founder of Kusudi International, a personal growth & development consulting firm that specializes in teaching leadership principles to help individuals and small companies cultivate and maximize their true potential. Mike has written several books and manuals including The Lion’s Den and The Men’s Mental Health Legacy Journal and Cultivating Potential Within Purpose. He is also the founder of the Pathway to Purpose University, an online digital course that centers around helping others discovering and living out their life’s purpose.
